The excitement and awe in the eyes of someone who sees their individual space come to life is a designer’s greatest joy.  Our sole mission at Birwood + Fenkell is to inspire and create an experience each time you see our products in your space. 

We believe that individuality is a virtue and it is important for you to embrace what you feel makes your space beautiful.

The luxury lifestyle

Our owner, Robin has been designing and beautifying spaces for homes, businesses, parties and weddings for over a decade. Through her travels, she’s had the pleasure of being inspired by so much beauty in this world - from the gorgeous gardens at The Biltmore Estates in Ashville, SC to pristine historical buildings in Tokyo, Japan. Her passion for design - the ambiance it creates and the mood it sets for individuals was the driving force behind Birwood + Fenkell. The design boutique was formed to bring its own spin of individuality mixed with some pretty amazing décor.

The Journey!

Creativity is her muse. “As an interior designer, when clients have their own ideas, you have to take them into account. While designing may be your expertise, a good leader is also a good follower and is open to the ideas of others. Taking someone’s ideas and incorporating your expertise will always make them feel valued, thus creating a space that embraces their individuality.”
