My first exposure to all things creative was through my mom, Gerri. She adored making her small space look like rooms out of a magazine. She was frugal which heightened her ability to recognize beautiful things and her keen eye for beauty was the talk of the neighborhood. It was inspiring to watch her attention to detail as she planned out how she would move furniture around and plan what she would add to make a room look completely redesigned. As a child, I admired how she took care of our home. 

This page pays homage to her beautiful soul. Watching her for so many years has given me knowledge of the things she would love. I know she is looking down and proud of the beauty that is Birwood + Fenkell.
